HOW RELIGION WAS USED TO PERMANENTLY DESTROY AFRICAN SPIRITUALITY.





 
Saying that colonization is something of the past is failing to understand the trauma and disruptions that colonization has caused and continues to cause.

What was the colonial projects and some causes?

Religion disguise as an evil concepts to civilized and antagonize the African people. Presenting names inferior in need of salvation. David Livingstone and the London missionary Society, mean aim was to set up missionary stations worldwide. 

This idea introduced propagation, which is the spreading or promoting of a certain idea or theory. Propagation was used by Europeans by proclaiming any African traditions and spirituality as evil.

Now here is the irony,  they themselves were in involved in dehumanizing, kidnapping and human trafficking African people for centuries, but none of the African followers of these religions seem to question any of it. 


       The missionaries had their Bibles and we had our lands.  They taught us how to pray with our eyes closed and when we opened them they had the land and we had the Bible. Jomo Kenyatta. 

To this day,  most African countries that has been colonized and are still linked so these religions such as Christianity and Islam. Effectively exploiting and eradicating the AFRICAN IDENTITY.


IT IS TIME THAT THOSE WHO ARE COMMITTED TO AFRICA’S LIBERATION FROM A COLONIAL PARADIGM TO REALIZE THAT ONLY THE BEST IS GOOD FOR AFRICA!

Critics.

In life you can’t worry about people’s opinions, your friends, families, teachers parents are prime example of you’re alone . Some friends,  will hold you back from your full potential and if you listen to them you’ll never channel your true self or even chase your dreams. Family members never believes in you , and teachers simply just don’t care, of course  not every one of your friends, families , parents and teachers are like this but when you’ve experienced life severally you’ll start to see facts in these statements.
